Quick Guide

Several games supported ESL require the use of our own anti-cheat, Aequitas. Follow these instructions and you will hopefully have a trouble free experience!

First Step:

Click the download link to the left. After accepting the terms of use the download will begin.




Second Step:

You need to extract Aequitas to somewhere on your computer. You should extract it to it's own folder somewhere easy to find. For example make an Aequitas folder on your desktop and extract it to there.




Third Step:

Open your Aequitas folder and run the Aequitas program. Read through the Software Licence Agreement then click "Retrieve my aequitas password". This will take you to a page showing you your Aequitas password. Copy and paste it into the box in the Aequitas window and click "Accept".




Fourth Step:

Copy and paste the link to your match from the ESL website into the Matchlink box and click "Start Monitoring". A box will popup informing you that Aequitas is going to read system information, click "OK". Wait a few moments for a second box to popup telling you that you can connect to the server and begin playing. Click "OK", start your game and play!




Fifth Step:

After you have finished playing, Aequitas will detect when the game has exited. Click "OK". Aequitas will take a few moments to generate the Aequitas archive for the match. When it is complete a box will popup to tell you where it was saved. Click "OK".




Sixth Step:

Click the "Open Matchsheet" button to open the match page.Now, click "Upload match media (screenshots, demos, anticheat)". Enter "Aequitas" for the title and browse for the file on your computer then click "Send". Afterwards you can close Aequitas!
