The year has come and gone, and now we are ready to welcome 2009 during this New Years holiday. To celebrate, ESL and your CS 1.6 admins decided it would be a good idea to welcome the new year with some exciting CS action. Check out all the rules and details below.

In 2009, we are planning to have new leagues and to have some great cups. That is why Electronic Sports League is proud to say that we need you! Currently, we are looking for Counter-Strike 1.6 and Call of Duty 4 Admins.

Some of you might have stumbled upon someone that for some reason "need" your password and/or account name. This is however obviously a trick that dishonest phishers use in attempts to get your account data for even more dishonest reasons. Therefor we would like to clarified the usual methods to protect yourself and what you have to do when it's too late.

A whole day the ESL was offline due our moving from NGZ in Coburg to fast IT in Düsseldorf, but now we are back! Our IT department worked endlessly to bring you the ESL back as soon as possible and a few minutes ago they finished the job and our Webdevelopers put the ESL on again. Everything should work again and we can all start playing again.

As Thanksgiving passed us by, we thought it was necessary to help you burn off a few of those holiday pounds. The Counter Strike Admin Team has put together an action packed cup featuring a single map; Inferno!
