The Final of the ESL Razer Series is this sunday! Following some high quality games, the final sees DmZ|Norni play Enro|Gaddy in the final!

The Relegation games are over, with some shocks, and some expected outcomes. We now have our 8 players though. 3 of them will go home with some razer and THQ goodies. 5 of them go home with nothing. Dawn of war 2 livecasts will be continuing on with the excellent coverage though! Every single cup and relegation game has been covered.

The 3rd qualifier has finished, with Atro|Oakwarrior being our 2nd qualified player. He faced Atro|Umpire in what seems to be recurring theme to these cups. The 3rd place playoff saw Blobskillz beat BioTerra to prevent Atropine-Esports from making it a 1 2 3.

The 2nd qualifier has finished, with Limonad of immortals being our 2nd qualified player. He faced Umpire (again) in another tight final! The 3rd place playoff saw Norni (DmZ) beat Gaddy as orks vs nids. They both qualify for the relegation though, because umpire is an odd fellow who doesn't want his slot.

The 1st qualifier has finished, with the german ESL Pro Series favourite, Itcouldbeworse beating Umpire in a tight final! The 3rd place playoff featured lolGORGEous win over Alendor in a Tyranid vs SM matchup. This means that iTcouldbeWorsE has secured himself a slot in the Razer Series, while lolGORGEous and Alendor will be playing on the 15th to qualify.

Patch 1.5 has finally been announced for release tomorrow, thursday 30th of July at 20:00 CET, and your ESL team are raring to go and put on as many competition as we can for you this august!

This August, Competitive gaming is coming to ESL-America. Razer have kindly given us some prizes play with, so we have, for you, an 8 man Razer Series. There will be 4 qualification cups. 2 People will qualify from each. Here's hoping for some high quality games in 1.5!

ESL-america's inaugural cup, the dow2 1.4 beta 1on1 cup finished last night. with 25 members, it was a roaring success. There were also a lot of casts, 10 games in total for your viewing pleasure

With the beta announced only 12 hours ago, ESL America has already got its act together and opened signups for 3 night cups this beta. We're running not only a 1on1 cup... not only a 2on2 cup... but a bloody 3on3 cup, too!

Next week's 2on2 night cups are on Tuesday the 9th of June. We're trying to have each cup on a different night, so that everyone can play! The 3rd cup is planned to be on friday the 19th.

2on2 has only recently been added into the Dawn of War 2 system, but already it has seen a lot of activity in game. So we're going to run some cups!

While the american dow2 section is kind of "inactive" at the moment, the ESL have some good plans to change this in the future. With only 1 admin, though, putting these plans into motion will be impossible.

As the first RTS game in ESL America, the Dawn of War 2 section will now open their ladders to all participants who wants to fight in this brutal, never ending war! Be ready, when the hordes of orks, the mighty Space Marines, the overwhelming Tyranids or the sneaky Eldar clashes together.
