The 3rd qualifier has finished, with Atro|Oakwarrior being our 2nd qualified player. He faced Atro|Umpire in what seems to be recurring theme to these cups. The 3rd place playoff saw Blobskillz beat BioTerra to prevent Atropine-Esports from making it a 1 2 3.
Umpire seems to enjoy coming 2nd. Oakwarrior went kommando nob to counter umpire's warlock and used a combination of assashun's knife and hidden sluggas to beat up some pointy 'eadz!

Gratz on qualifying for the Razer Series, did you expect it? Yes, to be honest, I was quite confident because of firstly the time - I have a fresher mind at nighttime so it was definitely a plus. Also I had a kickass strategy (which I did not test that extensively) that worked quite nicely. How are you feeling? I can't sleep, need to shrug off the adrenaline first. It's like a drug, it feels like someone is pulling your face off from behind when it's really harsh. I saw that strategy, it involved using the knob and hidden sluggas to stomp eldar? How did you come up with that awesome idea? Yes that's right. Bio put the idea in my head - I was convinced that the Knob would not be up to snuff against the WSE because the Knob is slow and fragile, BUT, with stealth it is actually quite effective. And noone builds Rangers anyway. Do you think this makes rangers a requirement now for eldar vs orks? I think so. Umpire showed some nice micro with it in the 2nd game we had between eachother. When used effectively, I believe it is one step in finding a counter to the Knob as Eldar. The razer series proper starts a week from now, do you think you stand a good chance of finishing with a prize in it? There is definitely a lot of material still to be discovered in the new patch, so I believe we will see some strat-rotation in the coming weeks, days even maybe. All in all, I intend on getting to the podium :) But, nids are still imba Hormagaunts should not be allowed to chase down retreating units with such impunity, that, along with the Lictor Alpha's unusual strongness, are the only aspects that needs changing. So yes they are imba.

The System
There will be 4 qualification night cups. The 1st 2 rounds will be best of 1, with the top 32 playing Best of 3. The semi-final and final will be played on the day after! The cups are not limited to Americans, but are open to the world.
The Relegation will follow, where the 2nd place from each cup will have to play a 3rd place team, with the winner of these 4 games joining the 4 1st place finishers in the Razer Series!
In the Groupstages, these players will be split into 2 groups of 4 and play each other over the course of a week. All of these games will be casted on dow2live.
Once the groupstages are finished, the top 3 from each group will qualify to the Playoffs, with only the top 3 getting prizes!
LiveCasting
Constant broadcasting will take part during the qualifiers of the Razer Series and all Razer Series games will be broadcasted on dow2live!
What If you're not a pro?
There are no restrictions on who takes part! Even if you don't win, this is a fun competition to take part in, you might lose in the 1st round against some TS 42 player, but you can learn from the experience! Remember, only 2% of the contestants will qualify.
