The overall prize money of the Intel Extreme Masters Season III is 750,000 USD. The Intel Extreme Masters are the global league of eSports champions. Nine live tournaments at the worlds most important IT and gaming conventions are tied together by three continental eSports leagues. The leagues are held in Asia, Europe and America to find the best teams on each continent in World of Warcraft and Counter-Strike.These teams compete at the Continental Finals for their spot at the Intel Extreme Masters Global Final at CeBIT 2009. Intel and Dell Alienware sponsor the global league of eSports champions.
