ESL America Season II Starts!
After great Season I, it is time to start Season II with a bang. This Season we are adding Counter-Strike: Source to our list, but that's not the end of new things. Also we are adding a pay to play for Invite Division, which will include many known teams. Please read the rest of the news to find out more!

Open Division

The season-based open division is a free, competitive league that offers one match per week to test your teams ability. Teams will be split into a "West" and "East" and "Central" conference to limit ping imbalance. Make sure to enter your region on your team's profile.

Open Division Details:

Countries: United States Canada
Maps: dust2, inferno, train, nuke, tuscan,
Scoring: MR15 play to win
Overtime: No Overtime
Sides: knife for sides
Anticheat: Aequitas required for each match

With that being said, I would encourage you guys to sign up for the Open Division, CS 1.6 teams sign up here and CSS teams sign up here. Sign ups will end on Monday July 20th at 11:59PM EST.

Invite Division

The season-based Invite Division is a pay to play, competitive league where the best teams in North America are able to compete against each other for cash prizes. In addition to the Invite division, there will be a placement tournament, where the top four ranked teams will be added to Invite. The e-mail must include the following:
Title: Game Team Name
Team success in past 2 years
URL to the team on ESL website

Example:

Prizes

Each team that will place top 3 will receive the following awards for their team profiles.

1st Place 2nd Place 3rd Place


Invite Divisions:
In Season II the prize pot for both of the games is 3200USD which means that each game will have a pot of 1600USD**. Saying so the following amounts will be given to the winners.
1st - 1000USD**

2nd - 400USD**

3rd - 200USD**



Open Divisions:
While the Invite division has prizes, we've also arranged for Open teams to be able to win prizes, and here are the prizes for the Open Divisions.
1st - Free Entry to Main Division in Season III (worth 100USD)

2nd - Invitation to Main Division in Season III + 6 months of ESL premium

3rd - Invitation to Main Division in Season III + 3 Months ESL Premium

How to Participate

It is very easy to participate in our ESL Season II. You just need an ESL Account and a team with 5 members on it that have a valid game account entered on their ESL playersheet. Everything you need to know about starting in the ESL you can find here:
