Grand Opening of Street Fighter IV Section
In August 1987, the first Street Fighter PC game has been released and had only a little attention. But the second part released in 1991 revolutionized the game series and pushed it forward. Capcom as the publisher of the series has until today still not changed the games principles and is now publishing the fourth title on PC, the old and new fans of beat 'em up were waiting for this.

Presentation

Street Fighter is a so-called Beat 'em up game. With his special Move-System, Capcom has a very well and often feature copied in the gaming industry. Names like Dragon Punch or Hurricane-Kick are special attacks, which are not always easy to combinr. The Street Fighter games can not only be found on your home PC but also on a large variety of gaming consoles.

Features

At the beginning of the series the player had only a choice of eight fighters. With Street Fighter IV, there are now more than 17 playable characters. In addition to the eight known fighters and old bosses, there are more new characters which make the all characters available for each of the Street Fighter series up to 62.

Street Fighter IV has for the first time a 3D graphic environment and characters. The characters and environments are stylized 3-D rendered images, whereas the Street Fighter game is with typical 2-D perspective and additional 3-D specificities presented.

In Street Fighter IV, there are three game modes. In Arcade mode, you fight against opponents one after another with background history. The Versus mode is where the player can fight against a human or computer opponent. The challenge mode offers specials such as reaching for items, points, doing combos on time.

An online mode is now also available where you can use the ChampionChip mode tournaments or simply play against others players.
